As a 1982 graduate of the Real Estate Institute, Chris Brown began his real estate career as a sales associate for Brown Fowler REALTORS. In 1987, he assumed the management of the company's Summit office. In 1994, after the passing of his father, Brown became president/CEO of the company.
In December 2000, the firm merged with Prudential New Jersey Realty in East Brunswick and Prudential Pioneer Real Estate in Martinsville to become Prudential New Jersey Properties. In June 2014, the company rebranded to become Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New Jersey Properties.
In June of 2022 the company was sold to HomeServices of America. The company is grateful to be part of the largest real estate company in the country and looks forward to the next chapter in this fascinating business under the umbrella of HomeServices of America.
Brown was an active member on the Summit Board of Realtors and served as President in 1993 - 1994. He is also a past president of the Summit-New Providence Rotary Club. A member of the New Jersey Association of Realtors® Million Dollar Sales Club, he is a past instructor at Prudential's Real Estate Marketing Course.
Brown received his bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont. He now resides in Morristown with his wife. They have two grown kids and two granddaughters in North Carolina.
After more than 35 years in the real estate business, navigating many changes, there has always been one constant - the public needs and appreciates the value that a full-time, professional REALTOR brings to the transaction. I am lucky enough to work with the best team in real estate every day.
