Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties Raises $80,000 for The Sunshine Kids Foundation

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties hosted the 15th Annual Golf Invitational to benefit The Sunshine Kids on Monday, September 23rd and raised close to $80,000 for the non-profit organization dedicated to kids with cancer.

“Every year we strive to raise more money than the previous year and we can proudly say we have done that once again,” said Steve Janett, Chief Operating Officer of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties and the event chairperson. “I am profoundly grateful to our golf outing committee, offices and agents, our sponsors and donors and our event attendees whose tremendous generosity helped us continue our work to support the Sunshine Kids and their mission to add quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with exciting, positive group activities, so they may once again do what kids are supposed to do . . . have fun and celebrate life!”

The full day golf event, which ended with a dinner, an online silent auction, and golf awards for the day’s players, was backed by tremendous support from sponsors, volunteers and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties’ companywide agents and employees. In addition to a variety of office-sponsored events held locally throughout the year, this year’s golf invitational brings the company’s total contributions from golf events alone to more than $650,000.
